Just doing a little experimenting. I cut holes in the back of a disposable camera to see what kinds of light leaks I'd get. Turns out, I achieved a streaking effect by winding the film. Any comments?
i think this photo would be far more "bizzare(o)" without the lightleaks. the scuba/golf course combination alone is enough to rouse a viewers curiousity. for me, the lleak/star-effect is not only distracting, but it actually denies me the fun of just looking & wondering what the hell this photograph (or photographer) is all about. i think the random streaking effect gives the viewer reason to assume that the whole thing was just accidental, therefore killing a nicely (and strangely) choreographed image. ...u do, however, get extra-credit for ur experimentation (:-}
